Live Bus Tracking automatically monitors your selected bus arrivals with real-time updates, even when you minimize the app.

How to enable:

1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Auto-Track Bus Arrivals (toggle on)
2. When you view any bus stop details, tracking automatically begins
3. You can also manually toggle tracking for specific stops

Benefits: Continuous monitoring, battery-optimized updates, and smart background refresh.

Customize your search area:

1. Open Settings from the main menu
2. Go to Preferences
3. Adjust "Search Radius" from 100m to 1000m
4. Changes apply immediately to your nearby stops

Tip: Smaller radius (100-300m) for urban areas, larger radius (500-1000m) for suburban areas.

Solution: Enable location permissions by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Bustro and select "While Using App".

Additional checks:

• Ensure your search radius isn't too small (check Settings > Preferences)
• Try refreshing your location by pulling down on the nearby stops list
• Check if you're in an area with bus stops (Singapore only)

Note: Bustro only uses your location when the app is open to show nearby stops and calculate walking distances.

Answer: Yes! Our data comes directly from Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) DataMall API v3 in real-time. Timing may vary slightly due to traffic conditions, but we show the most current information available.

Data includes:

• Vehicle type indicators (single deck, double deck, bendy buses)
• Wheelchair accessibility status
• Passenger load (seats available, standing room, limited standing)
• Precise arrival predictions ("Arriving", "2 min", etc.)

Refresh rate: You can customize refresh intervals from 15 seconds to 2 minutes in Settings.

Steps:

1. Tap on any bus stop to open details
2. Tap the heart icon (♡) to add to favorites
3. Customize with a personal name, icon, and color
4. Access quickly from the "Favorites" tab

Advanced features:

• iCloud Sync: Favorites automatically sync across all your devices

Feature: The weather widget uses Apple WeatherKit to show current conditions and help you plan your journey. Knowing if it's raining or sunny helps decide when to leave and what to bring.

Tip: Tap the weather widget to open the full Weather app for detailed forecasts and radar.

Setup:

1. Ensure you're signed into iCloud on all devices
2. Favorites sync automatically in the background
3. Changes appear within minutes on other devices

Troubleshooting sync issues:

• Check iCloud settings in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud
• Ensure you have internet connectivity
• Try toggling airplane mode on/off to refresh sync

Common solutions:

1. Check Settings: Ensure "Auto-Track Bus Arrivals" is enabled in Settings > Preferences
2. Manual Toggle: Try manually enabling tracking for specific bus stops
3. Background Refresh: Enable Background App Refresh for Bustro in iOS Settings

Battery Optimization:

• Tracking is designed to be battery-efficient with smart refresh intervals
• Consider reducing refresh rate in Settings if battery usage is a concern
• Tracking automatically pauses when not needed

Quick fixes:

1. Force-close the app and reopen it
2. Restart your iPhone
3. Ensure you have the latest app version
4. Check available storage space (need at least 1GB free)

Solutions:

• Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular)
• Try switching between WiFi and cellular data
• LTA occasionally has maintenance - timing will resume automatically

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure location services are enabled
• Check internet connectivity
• Try zooming out and back in
• Restart the app if map appears blank
